Hi, I’m Stephanie, the person behind August Rays. It’s nice to meet you!

I’m a mom writing in my spare time who decided to create a space where we can all reconnect with our humanness and creativity. Like many, I was burnt out and overwhelmed, until I decided to delete all my Social Media and focus on real-life connections and presence.

I hope August Rays is a space to celebrate the things that make us human. I hope it can bring you joy, I hope it makes you think, and I hope you can rediscover your own creative side.

Full disclosure, I have ADHD and DO NOT use A.I., so you may find typos or bad punctuation, you may also have to trust my writing will lead you somewhere.

I aspire to grow August Rays far beyond the digital landscape, truly offering an analog experience of community to all who want it. On a more personal level, I’m working on a fantasy novel while trying to grow this project and raise my family. I’m also actively advocating for urgent A.I. legislation in Canada. Please support me in that effort if you can.

If you believe in this project, thank you. I’m very grateful that you stopped by.
